Robert Pope has extensive experience in the automotive and industrial gases industry in Australia. Early in his career, Robert pursued interests in controlled atmosphere technologies and was at the forefront of establishing nitrogen-based furnace applications within the Australian heat treatment industry. Robert has been a past President of the Sydney Institute of Metals and Materials (IMMA) and sat on the National Board of IMMA for several years.

Robert pursued a career in the industrial gases industry and established a solid reputation in major sales and marketing roles at BOC Limited within the metals, chemicals and LNG market segments.
