Mark McKenzie established Rare Consulting in 2005 and has led its development to the point where it is now a nationally recognised provider of transport and environmental solutions.
Mark is an accomplished transport professional with extensive expertise in the environmental performance of road-based transport. His particular expertise is in two areas. The first relates to the evaluation of the economic and environmental performance of alternative fuels and alternative vehicle technologies for road transport. The second relates to the development of strategic but practical responses to the challenges associated with the emergence of the carbon constrained economy – both in Australia and overseas. Mark was the National Facilitator of the Commonwealth Government’s Alternative Fuels Conversion Programme from 2001 to 2007.
Mark is an accomplished public speaker and facilitator, and has addressed a large number of national and international forums.
