Kait Gotham joined Rare Consulting in April 2011 as a consultant based in the Sydney office.

An environmental and sustainability professional, she has over 10 years’ experience in managing the environmental impacts of industry from individual facility through to whole-company level. Kait’s passion for improving the sustainability of industry is supported by her background in process engineering, providing insight into the competing pressures encountered in operations management.

Prior to joining Rare, Kait worked for several manufacturing and energy companies where she focused on managing operational risk, energy and environmental issues through developing and deploying strategies to improve the environmental footprint of industry, underpinned by reporting metrics and modelling of environmental impacts. She has a detailed knowledge of energy and greenhouse gas assessment and reporting legislation, having rolled out EEO and NGER compliance programs across a variety of facilities, and specialises in measuring and managing carbon risk.
