Jordan Groeneveld is an economist who specialises in the evaluation of alternative transport technology and fuels. Jordan has extensive experience working with transport operators, alternative fuel and technology providers and state and federal governments to help them understand the key energy and environmental imperatives that challenge businesses today. He has delivered strategic advice and analysis to support the decisions of policymakers and stakeholders involved in the transport sector.

Prior to joining Rare, Jordan was part of the Climate Change and Sustainability Services team at Ernst & Young (Qld). The team assisted government and the private sector to identify the barriers to responding effectively to climate change policy measures. In this role he helped businesses identify effective strategies within a carbon constrained economy and provided advice to the Queensland Government in relation to a potential carbon market fund (EcoFund).
