Bahador is a chemical engineer with a broad understanding of many industrial processes and factors that contribute to the generation of greenhouse gases, in particular within carbon intensive industries. Furthermore, Bahador has an extensive knowledge of established (e.g. EU ETS) and emerging carbon markets. He specialises in climate change policy and its impacts on business, and assists clients to better understand and reduce carbon risk and capitalise on opportunities in low carbon economies.

Previously, Bahador was directly involved in providing clients with a range of climate change and carbon advisory services. His work entailed advising companies on their exposure to carbon policy, assisting them to measure, report and manage their carbon emissions, and helping them establish their carbon strategies. Bahador was also involved in assisting clients to better understand the direct and indirect (e.g. supply chain) financial impacts of carbon pricing on their business structures and competitive positioning.
