Anna Lyth manages Rare Consulting's Hobart office. Anna has expertise in sustainable urban development, particularly sustainable transport and climate change mitigation and adaptation strategy. She has a comprehensive understanding of Australian urban systems and the implications of social and environmental change. Her grasp of land use and transport dynamics and the socioeconomic structure of urban places are essential in understanding contemporary urban travel behaviour outcomes and challenges.

Anna has a strong national and international network of contacts in the field of climate change science and adaptation and holds international and national awards for her activities and research in both climate change and urban transport. She has worked in the private sector and university sector and has worked with local government and community organisations on climate change, transport and sustainability projects. Anna has been an invited participant on a range of collaborative stakeholder and community education initiatives, and government working groups, and has led projects for the Australian Government on climate change adaptation capacity building in the built environment sector.

Anna is an accomplished applied researcher, strategic thinker and competent project manager. She has received awards for excellence in education through her work in the university sector and is a proficient facilitator of workshops and collaborative stakeholder processes.
